Parent Coaching
Helping you to have the family life you always dreamed of
Feel more confident as a parent, understand your child's behaviour, and create closer family relationships.
Parenting could be the most important job you will ever have – and often the most challenging! Our children can bring out the best and the worst in us. They can also be our greatest teachers.
Are you facing challenges like emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, friendships, bullying, ADHD or other learning differences in your child?
Maybe you want to parent differently from the way you were parented, but aren’t sure where to begin?
Since 2005 I’ve supported families navigating challenging behaviours and learning differences. Holistic Counselling can help you to create the family life you’ve always dreamed of.
I won’t pathologise, label or diagnose your child. Rather, we’ll work together, helping you to raise children who are able to realise their potential to live happy and successful lives.
Holistic Counselling and Parent Coaching can help with:
- Anxiety, depression
- ADD, ADHD, dyslexia
- Emotional regulation
- Friendships, bullying
- Anger, frustration, defiance

Addressing the stresses and tensions in our own lives
is the first step in creating lifelong change
About Holistic Counselling and Parent Coaching
I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental space where together we can talk about what’s happening in your family and explore strategies to create change.
Your holistic counselling and parent coaching session is your chance to tell me all about your child. I will ask about their early years, particularly any shocks or overwhelming experiences. I will also ask you about their special gifts, and the joy they bring into your life.
Experience shows that addressing the stresses and tensions in our own lives naturally creates positive change in those around us. Children’s behaviour improves, as if by magic!
When they feel secure in relationship with others children generally:
- Do better in school
- Are more able to effectively regulate their emotions
- Have happier and closer relationships with their parents
- Form better friendships
- Enjoy improved health and wellbeing
If this sounds like what you are looking for, I would love to meet you.
Circle of Security Parenting Program
This internationally renowned parenting progam is designed to help you understand your children’s behaviours, and build closer relationships. Rather than offering strategies to manipulate behaviour, change is based on recognising the reason behind the behaviour, asking “What is your child really needing”?
We are social beings, and a safe and secure attachment during infancy and early childhood is the basis of all later development, including emotional regulation, the ability to respond to stressful situations, relationships and classroom success.
Children thrive when they feel safe, seen, heard and understood.
Sessions are available both online and in person at Moruya South Head.
- Understand the meaning behind those tantrums and meltdowns
- Build a closer connection with your children
- Learn alternatives to time-outs, “consequences”, withdrawal of privilege and other punishment-based strategies
- Raise securely attached children who are ready to learn
As one happy parent commented:
“Every parent should do this course”.
