I am a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator, and have been offering this course to families locally for the last eight years. In that time, I have seen many positive changes.
The Circle of Security is an internationally recognised parenting program designed to help you better understand your child’s behaviour—and build a stronger, more connected relationship.
Rather than focusing on strategies to “manage” behaviour, this approach gently explores what may be sitting underneath.
It asks a simple but powerful question:
Children thrive when they feel:
Many parents find that as they begin to understand their child in a new way, their relationship naturally begins to shift.
It’s not about getting it “right” all the time—it’s about growing in awareness and connection.
While the program is often offered in groups, I also work with individuals and couples.
This allows for a more personalised experience, where we can move at your pace and focus on what feels most relevant for your family.
Many parents find that this shared understanding also helps them feel more confident working together as a parenting team.
Sometimes, as we explore our child’s needs, we may also become aware of our own early experiences.
This is a natural part of the process.
As a trauma-informed therapist and PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor, I offer a safe, supportive space where anything that arises can be gently explored.
Sessions are available face-to-face and online (Australia-wide).
The program is offered over 8 weekly sessions.
Parenting can feel challenging at times, especially when you’re trying to understand what your child needs.
This program offers a gentle, supportive way to make sense of your child’s behaviour—and to feel more confident in how you respond.
If this feels like something that could support you and your family, I would be very happy to talk it through with you.
