About Rosalind

Bringing to therapy the depth of understanding that comes from lived experience

About Me

I am a PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor, Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and Victims Services Counsellor.

I bring a gentle, compassionate and understanding approach to supporting parents through Holistic Counselling and Parent Coaching

My Approach

I believe that children’s behaviour is a form of communication.

Rather than trying to suppress or eliminate behaviours, I see these disturbances as bringing us a message.

When we are able to understand the “why” behind the behaviour, we can begin to support children in ways that feel safe, connected, and meaningful.

Learning and behaviour naturally improve when children feel safe and supported.

My Journey

My interest in child development began over 20 years ago, when my daughter started school.

She experienced intense after-school meltdowns and increasing anxiety in the classroom. Like many parents, I had no idea how to help.

Looking for answers, I started studying, researching child behaviour, and how safety and security early in life affects us later on.

Research shows that when parents address the stresses and tensions in their own lives, the benefits flow on to everyone around them, particularly their children.

Experience and Perspective

As a mother and grandmother, I bring the benefits of lived experience into my work, alongside many years of training and study in child development and holistic counselling.

I support families using a gentle, holistic approach that considers the emotional, developmental, and relational needs of both parent and child.

My Intention

My goal is to support parents to raise children who feel safe, understood, and are able to realise their potential—growing into confident, capable individuals living successful and meaningful lives.

Away From Work

When I’m not working, you might find me spending time with my family, walking alongside the Moruya River, or enjoying a coffee at a local café.

A Gentle Next Step

If you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a different way to support your child, you’re welcome to reach out.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.
