Holistic Counselling and Parent Coaching

Parenting can feel especially hard when your child is struggling—perhaps you’re dealing with big emotions, anxiety, challenging behaviour, or concerns about learning.

If you’re feeling stuck, confused or overwhelmed, you’re not alone.

I offer a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of what’s happening together and explore approaches that feel right for you and your family.

Rather than seeing your child’s behaviour as something to be “fixed”, I invite you to become curious about what it might be telling us.

Often, beneath the behaviour is a child who feels overwhelmed and is doing the best they can to communicate what they cannot yet put into words.

My role is to walk alongside you as we begin to make sense of what you’re seeing and discover a calmer, more connected way forward.

Ways we can Work Together

Parent Coaching

A practical, supportive space to explore everyday parenting challenges, understand behaviour more deeply, and discover approaches that feel more manageable at home.

Holistic Counselling

Sometimes parenting also touches something within ourselves.

Holistic counselling offers a gentle space to explore your own thoughts, emotions and experiences, helping you find greater clarity, resilience and self-understanding.

Supporting You as a Couple

Parenting can place enormous pressure on relationships.

Couples counselling provides a space to understand each other more deeply, strengthen communication, and work together as a parenting team.

Circle of Security Parenting Program

This internationally recognised parenting program helps parents understand what children’s behaviour is communicating, build secure relationships, and respond with greater confidence and connection.

Working Together

Every family is different.

Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, I will support you to explore your experiences, at your own pace, and in a way that feels right for you

Our sessions are calm, compassionate and non-judgemental.

Together we create a space where you can:

  • talk openly about what’s happening
  • feel safe, seen, heard and understood
  • make sense of your experiences
  • explore new ways of responding that feel authentic to you
  • move towards the changes you’re hoping for

My work draws on Process-Oriented Psychology (Processwork), child development, and an understanding of attachment and emotional safety.

These perspectives help us make sense of what you’re experiencing and understand what may lie beneath the surface.

Throughout our work together, I respect your own experience and the wisdom you already bring as a parent.

Your First Session

Beginning counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not quite sure what you need yet.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

Our first session is simply an opportunity to slow down, talk about what’s been happening, and begin making sense of things together.

We’ll spend time getting to know each other, exploring your concerns, and discussing what support might be most helpful for you and your family.

From there, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Practical Information

  • No referral or Mental Health Plan is required.
  • Sessions are available in person in Moruya on the NSW South Coast.
